NAIPR'S Frontlist Plus UniversalSM FACTS
Free to the Valued Buyer
Frontlist Plus UniversalSM is ultimately focused on the end-user, the buyer or inventory manager following up on their sales representative's seasonal call to sell-in NYP titles. The data is free to booksellers, in catalog order, and available live online throughout the designated catalog season.
When the buyer registers they obtain a User Name and Password that admits them to the system to view available publisher catalogs and to maintain their profile. The system shows the buyer the names, affiliations, and email address of the sales reps in their region along with the catalogs they represent.
With point-and-click simplicity, the buyer is able to export an entire catalog, individual imprints, or individual titles to a folder or destination drive for import into their store system and to create a seasonal new-title purchase order.

The Role of the Sales Representative is Key
Frontlist Plus UniversalSM is also designed to support the sales representative, commission or house, operating in the field or covering the field from an inside sales position. Sales representatives obtain User Names and Passwords and are able to enumerate their publishers for their buyers to see.
At season's start, all participating reps are able to download their entire "bag" in Excel for their sales-management needs and to create paper or e-order forms. They also can "share" their bag with registered buyers. In the case of a house representative, the rep has the ability to share the imprints published by their house.
In the case of an independent publisher representative, the rep can share his or her "bag," or set of publishers they represent in their geographic territory.
For accounts not connected to the Internet or those using older systems, sales representatives are able to download their "bag" to a diskette or CD-ROM to assist their buyers.
Value for the Publishers and Distributors Who Fund the Program
Frontlist Plus UniversalSM operates on a simple non-profit model, whereby publishers and master distributors pay a nominal fee per ISBN included in the program. Contact Laurie Graham for pricing.
Our Web-based system enables NAIPR to enter data manually, import and manage ONIX feeds, and convert MS Excel templates. Catalogs are verified by system administrators to ensure quality before they are available to reps and buyers online.
Frontlist Plus UniversalSM accommodates three-season and two-season paradigms and makes the information freely and universally available during the seasonal window until it is replaced by the following season's titles.
